Paul Graham entered the ministry in 2002 on a part-time basis and was brought on full-time in 2004. A “homegrown” talent, he had served on the board of Trustees and as an Elder of Calvary for five years prior to his call as a pastor.  With a 12 year business background, Paul brings a fresh perspective to church life, teaching, and leadership. Paul has a heart and gift for teaching and preaching the Word of God, as well as providing counsel to the body of Christ. As Associate Pastor he currently has oversight of adult ministries, LifeGroups, and stewardship. His wife, Wendi, is an enthusiastic supporter of solid Biblical teaching and also teaches Precept upon Precept while assisting in various other ministries of the church. They have one energetic son, Isaac.  You can follow Pastor Paul on Twitter

He is passionate about people becoming connected to God and to each other and "everyone being cared for by someone" in the Body of Christ. His second passion is the Michigan Wolverines! Dave has three sons (who are also passionate about the Wolverines) and three grandchildren.  Carol's passion is loving people, hospitality, reading and eating chocolates.  She loves having her grandkids over for a sleepover.  What fun!

Paul_and_Lisa_CharltonOffice manager: Lisa Charlton and Paul

Lisa came on staff to Calvary in 2002 as a part-time administrator and now is connected full-time.  Calvary has always been her home church and she finds it a joy to share her skills and abilities as a part of the church staff.  A number of people utilize the facility seven days/week and it is a wonderful opportunity to connect and facilitate for them.  Lisa really appreciates working with a committed group of men who are passionate about their calling and about the people God has called them to serve.

Lisa met her husband Paul at Calvary and they have been married for 16 years.  He is a great supporter of ministries and they have worked together in many projects.  They have been on 2 short-term missions trips with the church puppet team “No Strings Attached” in 2006 and completed two more missions trips with new teams since then.  They are excited to work with our puppet team, traveling with them and acting as advisors for many of our youth.

Rob Currie joined the staff at Calvary in 2008 and is our full-time youth director.  He is a "home grown" talent that joined the church in 2002, was mentored, engaged in ministry, and developed his leadership gifts within our congregation. He enjoys a close rapport with our youth and a passion to reach the city of Guelph.  He has started two key ministries in his short time on staff, the city-wide monthly worship event "the Vault" which draws up to 200 youth for worship and testimony, and a new high school club ministry, supporting Christian students in their schools. He and his wife Kim have an adorable baby girl. Paisley.

Director of Children's Ministry: Rhonda Hopkins

While attending the University of Guelph Rhonda felt the Lord calling her to invest her life in ministry. Following the Lord on that calling has led her to be involved in university ministry, youth ministry, women's ministry and now children's ministry. Rhonda is passionate about seeing people understand the greatest gift and how to fully enjoy that gift. Gifted in exhortation and pastoring, she enjoys speaking at retreats and conferences. Her education includes a BASc in Family and Social Relations and ministry training in evangelism and discipleship. She has been attending Calvary since her wedding in 1998 and has been on staff since 2008. Her husband also serves at Calvary overseeing the Upward Sports program and playing piano on one of the worship teams. They have three children who remind them of the importance of marshmallows in hot chocolate in the winter and roasted over the campfire in the summer!
